About the Event
Join us for an exhibit reception for Life, Liberty, Loudoun! Revolutionary Stories. This new exhibit explores the different perspectives of people residing in Loudoun County during the time of the American Revolution and how they experienced the era in different and sometimes conflicting ways. The reception, including light refreshments, will be followed by another installment in our Revolutionary Stories: Loudoun and Beyond program series.
Caught between his ambition in Virginia and his loyalty to his home country at the outbreak of the American Revolution, an Englishman found his salvation from an unexpected source: a Patriot from Loudoun County.
The Tory and the Patriot is part of Loudoun Museum’s Revolutionary Stories: Loudoun and Beyond program series. This program series features speakers who will dive deep into the stories of Loudoun’s diverse people and perspectives of the Revolutionary era.
