Documentary filmmaker Ken Burns latest production for PBS "The American Revolution" is premiering November 16. This six-night, twelve-hour television event will examine the American War for Independence and the founding of the United States of America.
If you love talking about history, reflecting on documentary themes, and connecting with other history buffs, join the Loudoun VA250 committee on November 22 at 10 a.m., for a "donuts & documentary discussion" opportunity. Bring your own coffee and we will have the donuts.
What stories or scenes stood out for you? Did you learn anything that surprised you about the Revolutionary War and time period? Was anything missing? After watching the series the previous six evenings, talk about it with others and share your opinions.
