Lafayette in Loudoun Walking Tour

Join us for a walking tour inspired by Lafayette's 1825 visit to Leesburg! Led by guide Martin Gordon, you’ll retrace Lafayette’s route through Downtown Leesburg, learning about the people, locations, and events that took place just over two hundred years ago. The tour will start at Loudoun Museum. From there, you will visit several stops in Downtown Leesburg and learn about the sights and people that Lafayette saw and visited during his farewell tour. You will also hear a few of the fifty toasts that were made at the Loudoun County Courthouse during his 1825 visit.
