From the subsistence farming of the earliest colonists to the formal gardens of the 19th century to today’s gardening clubs, April Showers, May Flowers, & Summer Harvests takes visitors on a fascinating journey through Loudouners’ connection to and love of gardening. Artifacts on display include garden-themed items of fashion as well as everyday life.
The exhibit opens April 21 to honor the Leesburg Flower & Garden Festival. Admission to the museum and this exhibit will be free throughout opening weekend.
April Showers, May Flowers, & Summer Harvests will close on August 31, 2018.
