Needlework Seminar for Children
At the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Leesburg. For children ages 8 through 17. Snacks and materials provided. The Loudoun Sampler Guild and the Loudoun Museum host this annual Needlework Seminar. Students learn the fine art of needlework stitching through small group instruction and the completion of a specially designed project. The seminar offers students the opportunity to develop a life-long skill and artistry.

 

Civil War Camp for Kids
At the Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve south of Leesburg. For children 8 - 12. Participants will learn about the life of a Civil War soldier through presentations, hands-on activities, and demonstrations by visiting Civil War experts and re-enactors. There will also be a field trip to a local battlefield.

 

Archaeology Camp
At the museum's log cabin and/or Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve south of Leesburg. For children ages 11 - 18.
