2010 Children's Heritage Mini Programs

Colonial Program Outline children 3-9 years old
Welcome to the Loudoun Museum!
- Introduction- (if possible start in Garden)
- Visit the Garden
- Plants Uses/ (discuss home remedies)
- Discovery Room Demonstration(Museum)
- Dress up- Colonial Boy and Girl
- What's in a Pocket?/ What's in Haversack?
- Visit the Cabin
- Lavender Bags (table on back porch?)
- Write with a Quill (table on back porch?)
- Colonial Toys and Games (Green Area near Cabin)
Here's an outline of the kinds of things we can do during a Children's program.
We can switch things around and shorten the length to accomodate younger children.
Cost per child $5, chaperones free. Please limit to 5-10 children.
Dates currently available are Tuesday, July 20 or 27 or any Tuesday in August.
